Morning Fog over the Bay
The fog lay on the water in an even layer, and the boats by the breakwater seemed to hang in white. I went out earlier than usual, while the promenade was still empty and all you could hear was the ropes knocking against the masts.
At first you can't see past a few metres. Then the shoreline appears over the water, and the fog slowly drifts out toward the open sea.
Mornings like this are best spent without a phone: a few steps on wet boards and a quiet broken only by the gulls.
